We run, we walk. We are a community of women who support each other and train together to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

Whether a beginner or a seasoned veteran, join our women’s walking/running group to train for your spring 5k, or half marathon.  (Please contact me directly for a full marathon training plan for spring. [email protected])  Or join us to get fit and feel great!  This will be a 12  week training class that will help you get to the start line of that spring race. Classes for 5k, fitness and half marathon training begin Monday February 2, 2015 downtown, Tuesday February 3 at the Warren Central Fieldhouse for MSD Warren township employees, and Thursday February 5th in Carmel at Runners Forum.  The spring race that we are training for is the Indianapolis Mini marathon.  If you are training for another spring event please join us and we can create a customized plan for your race. We will also be training for a trail half and quarter marathon beginning March 1, 2015. The trail half and quarter marathon is the Indiana women’s trail run on May 23, 2015..

Mini marathon training downtown is on Monday evenings 6pm at Sahm’s Cafe, downtown, Michigan St @ Capitol Ave. PARKING IS FREE! Questions?  See our FAQ page.

We have a coed group that will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm on the east side for MSD Warren township employees at the Warren Central High School Fieldhouse.

We also have a training group in Carmel that will meet on Thursday evenings at 6 pm at Runners Forum in Carmel (620 Station Drive)

Trail half marathon and quarter marathon training will meet Sunday afternoon at 2 PM at Eagle Creek Park at the Peace Learning Center beginning March 1, 2015.

Topics will be customized to the needs of the class but will likely include:

  • Cold weather walking/running.
  • When bad things happen, from dogs to diarrhea, and what to do.
  • How to become mentally tough.
  • Strong core, stronger walker or runner.
  • The 7 heavenly stretches that help keep you injury free.
  • Nutrition for active women.
  • How to prepare for a race.
